The Shell start-up times recorded and averaged over 5-runs. The test-machine configuration was as follows
- Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz, 533 MHz FSB
- 512 MB RAM, 333MHz

- Java version "1.4.1_02"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1_02-b06)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.1_02-b06, mixed mode)
- NaradaBrokering, Version [0.95-bug-fix-3-20-2004]
A high resolution timer library
for Java was used to achive the timing results. All the values are in milliSeconds.
